Female Who Has Been Missing From Ozark County Since May Found Safe In Oklahoma

Gainesville, MO.  – A woman who had been missing from Ozark County since May was found safe in Oklahoma on August 20, 2024. The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department announced that 41-year-old Katerina Evans was found safe in Tulsa, Oklahoma after going missing on May 16, 2024.

On the original missing person’s report, Katrina Evans was described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She was 5 foot 4 inches and weighed 120 pounds. No more information has been given on how she was found, only that she was found safe and unharmed.

Sheriff Cass Marin stated that the public should not be scared or hesitant to report a person missing or provide information on missing persons. They will not hesitate to run down any leads given. On August 15, 2024, they ran down a lead provided by the general public about the disappearance of Evans. This lead brought them to the east side of Bull Shoals Lake but investigations proved to show inconclusive information on her whereabouts.
