Salem, AR. High School Honors Late Alumnus

Salem, AR. – Tommy Bassham, a 19-year-old Salem Arkansas resident, passed away on May 27th of 2022 in a fatal car accident. This year, the Salem, AR. School District is honoring their late graduate by dedicating a campus automobile to his memory.

This dedication comes in the form of a UTV they have affectionately named the “Tommy Lift”, and was made possible through a donation from Bassham’s parents and the Salem School District. This UTV is used as a way to shuffle those less physically able to and from the local sports field and nearby parking lot.

Those who remember Tommy feel this is an excellent tribute to the former student, as he was also a player with the school’s football team.
