COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference and the University of Missouri softball team announced the 2025 conference schedule Wednesday. The Tigers’ slate consists of eight three-game series as part of their 24-game SEC schedule.
Conference play will begin on March 7 and run through May 3.
Led by seventh-year head coach Larissa Anderson, Missouri will open SEC play on the road, facing Kentucky in Lexington from March 7-9.
The Tigers’ first home SEC series will take place March 21-23 against four-time reigning National Champions, Oklahoma, at the Mizzou Softball Stadium.
Mizzou’s home SEC slate also features matchups against Texas (April 4-6), Texas A&M (April 18-20) and Georgia (May 1-3) at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
The Tigers’ will also compete in SEC road series at Ole Miss (March 28-30), at Mississippi State (April 11-13) and at Alabama (April 25-27).
The 2025 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 6-10 at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
Game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date. The schedule is subject to change, including adjustments to series end dates.
Mizzou is coming off another impressive season in 2024, earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the 17th consecutive year. The Tigers totaled 48 wins in 2024, their highest total in the program’s SEC era and fourth-most in program history.
Anderson most recently led the Tigers to a top-10 finish, an NCAA Super Regional appearance and the team’s second Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship appearance in three seasons.
Mizzou won four-straight Regional games before competing against Duke in a three-game Columbia Super Regional series.
The Tigers return six starters from the 2024 NCAA Super Regional team including SEC All-Defensive right fielder Kayley Lenger, NFCA All-Region first baseman Abby Hay along with catcher Julia Crenshaw and third baseman Kara Daly.
In the circle, Mizzou returns starters Cierra Harrison and Marissa McCann along with NCAA saves leader Taylor Pannell.
