Fort Leonard Wood, MO. – A woman from Fort Leonard Wood, MO. has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to attempting to kill an Army Sergeant back in 2022.
This began in October of 2022, when law enforcement arrived to a call of a man saying that Katara Hamilton, was outside his house carrying a handgun and wanting to see their child.

When law enforcement arrived to the residence, they heard a shot ring out, and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and Hamilton standing in the driveway with the handgun.
