The St. Louis Cardinals got back above .500 with a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth when Jordan Walker stroked a solo shot, and Nolan Arenado added an insurance run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Lance Lynn earned his seventh win while holding Pittsburgh to a run on four hits in six innings, and Ryan Helsley picked up his 45th save. St. Louis remains seven games back of the final NL Wild Card spot at 76-and-75. The Cardinals send Sonny Gray to the mound against the Pirates tonight.
