West Plains, MO. – On September 19th, a man was arrested after trespassing and being found with various drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The Sheriff’s Office say this took place at a residence near County Road 8800, West Plains. On arrival, law enforcement found a man, identified as Dayton Austin, on the property in a vehicle behind the victims house. After being confronted by the home owner, Austin threw various items out of their vehicle, which were later to found to be suspected meth, suspected fentanyl, and various other narcotics and paraphernalia.
Austin was taken into custody on a possession charge, and 2nd Degree Trespassing.
