Kurt Hayden Barry

 

Kurt H. Barry, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away at his home Thursday night, September 19, 2024. Kurt was born in West Plains, on February 11, 1992, to Duke Hayden and Cynthia Sue (Cox) Barry and was 32 years old.

Kurt grew up in Willow Springs, where he attended and graduated from the local schools. After high school, he attended MSU and received his associate degree. He also attended Three Rivers College and studied HVAC and Electrical Engineering. Kurt worked as a technician for IGT for the past few years. He attended First General Baptist Church and had recently began attending Westside Family Life Center. In his free time, he enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Kurt was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ervin E. Cox and Roy Barry, and his grandmother, Janice Baker-Barry.

He is survived by his parents, Duke and Cindy; his grandmother, Marietta Cox; and his sister, Karley Good and husband, Christopher. He is further survived by 2 nephews and a niece that he adored; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his honorary brother, Brandon Grogan, and his children.
