Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative Responds to Hurricane Helene Damage

West Plains, MO. – This past week, a large section of the United States was disrupted and some people lost their lives as Hurricane Helene made contact with the shores and moved inland. Local provider of electricity, Howell-Oregon Electric, was one of 30 organizations in Missouri who sent crews out to assist in repairs.

In their official statement on the deployment, the repair work could take weeks, as the extensive damage has left a lot of infrastructure in an inoperable state.
