Ava, MO. – Today is Thursday, giving us only one day before some of the weekend festivals start to pop up from town to town. One that begins tomorrow is the Ava Pioneer Heritage Festival, entering its 7th year.
This Ava annual event celebrates the eras of the past that that were formative for the culture of the region going forward. Organizers say this festival showcases traditional Ozarks culture and skills by featuring local artisans, and builds new community traditions through examples and education.
Food vendors will be attending the festival, as well as a variety of exhibitors that will be taking part in more traditional crafts.
