ed2go, part of the Cengage Group, provides quality education programs that empower individuals with essential skills and knowledge for success in today’s ever-changing job market, university officials said. What began in 1997 as an email correspondence program has grown into a leading online continuing education provider, reaching lifelong learners in 50 states and more than 16 countries.

Through the partnership, MSU-WP will offer an expansive selection of cost-effective online courses designed to address the current needs of in-demand industries, university officials said. These ed2go-powered courses will help MSU-WP close the education-to-employment gap where the traditional two- and four-year in-person model leaves many behind. They also stand as a testament to the university’s dedication to making quality education accessible, officials added.

“We understand the rapid evolution of the job market and the importance of adaptable learning solutions,” said Trevor Cressman, director of workforce development and community education at MSU-WP. “Our collaboration with ed2go allows us to provide the flexibility and agility needed for individuals to upskill effectively and seize emerging employment opportunities.”

Course offerings provide high-demand skills

ed2go brings more than 25 years of experience creating educational content. The company has served more than 4.5 million students from a catalog of more than 850 high-demand online courses, Cressman noted.

The course offerings equip students with high-demand skills and credentials spanning diverse sectors, including but not limited to HVAC, medical billing and coding, human resources, programming, project management and more. Students can choose between self-paced or instructor-led courses, which fosters a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.

“Our collaboration with MSU-WP will open doors for future students, offering them access to high-quality online education, ultimately enhancing their career prospects and desire for a quality job outcome,” said Stefan Evers, vice president of sales at ed2go. “ed2go is proud to support our partners enrich their students’ lives and equipping them with relevant and transferrable skills.”
