Three dead in a traffic crash on State Highway 17, ten miles north of Houston. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that 23-year-old Tommy Federico of Roby lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle head on, causing both vehicles to overturn. Federico, along with 25-year-old passenger Helen Drury and a five-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other children were injured and taken from the scene by air medical transport.
