Jets 3, Blues 2

The St. Louis Blues surrendered three goals in the second period of their 3-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets at Enterprise Center. The Blues got on the board first when Brandon Saad lit the lamp in the middle of the first period, but Winnipeg scored the next three goals of the contest. Saad finished the night with two goals in the losing effort and reached 501 career points. St. Louis is in fifth place in the Central Division with eight points and a 4-3-and-0 record. The Blues visit the Maple Leafs tomorrow night. In other team news, defenseman Nick Leddy was placed on injured reserve yesterday.
