West Plains Cross County news Kyler Gunter and Addison Sanders have been named Southwest Missouri Cross Country Coaches Association Athletes of the Year for 2024. Also, Congratulations to Hunter Bartlett, Keena Roth and Abby Sons Mountain Grove panthers receiving all district and honorable mention in the Southwest Cross Country Coaches Association (SWCCCA) recognizing them for their conference, district and state performance.
District football championship games are coming up this Friday night in our area. Liberty will be at Fair Grove game will air on The Fox 969 and The West Plains Zizzers will host Bolivar game will air on KDY 102.5 both games will be live video streamed on the Mshsaa website.

The West Plains Zizzer Boys Basketball team will be holding a Toy Drive, benefiting the Bridges Program on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The Zizzers will host the Mountain Home Bombers (JV at at 5 p.m and the varsity game will follow. Attendees will receive free admission with the donation of a new toy.
Up next for the 34-5, #10 Lady Grizzly Volleyball team is the NJCAA National Tournament in Clarksville, Tennessee on November 20th-23rd. Grizzlies are seeded 10 in the national tournament. They play the 7 seed, the Odessa Wranglers (Texas) at 1 pm Monday @ Clarksville, Tennessee.
The Liberty Lady Eagles will compete in the East Carter Girls basketball Jamboree on Tuesday Nov 19th at 615. The regular season will get underway for the Lady Eagles on Nov 25th when the Lady Eagles host the Alton Lady Comets.
