An intense game between Liberty & Bunker results in a 54-48 victory by Bunker

Liberty was upset by Bunker by a score of 54-48 in quite an intense game.

1st Quarter: Parker Tune forhyuj6 the Eagles tries to take it to the basket after they win the tip but loses it out of bounds. A foul call as Bunker gets the ball and Owen Sanders goes to the line to shoot two. Some  passes underneath as both of the Tunes (Parker & Alex) try to get it back. And finally stolen back, and taken in for two by Lincolin Hines. Rebound by Brennon Meloy for Bunker who trades a few passes with Sanders and Jayton Skaggs. Stolen back by Draydon Wells who puts it up and in. Stolen back and a good three pointer by Brennon Meloy for Bunker. Early lead for the Bunker Eagles, 6-9. Eagles are managing to get a few rebounds and luckily are not in foul trouble by this point. Liberty looks to be able to tie the game with ten seconds. Hines tries for an easy layup at the end but no good, Quarter ends with Bunker leading 11-9.

2nd Quarter: Parker Tune is able to bring Liberty with one after another two pointer by Meloy. Draydon Wells is able to rebound and get the ball back to Tune who shoots two more and gives Liberty two more points to take the lead. A foul call on Bunker sends Braydon Radford to the line who makes two and ties it up at 14-14. Bunker continues to fight and Draydon is able to go after the ball on rebound and scores on another easy two pointer. Liberty steals it back after going loose, Draydon wells is able to make to easy shots and put it up for another pointer. Another three by Melloy for Bunker evens things out, but rebound by Melloy who continues to get good rebounds and drives towards the basket. Parker Tune scores on a three after this. And another two pointer by Alex Tune. 

HALFTIME- Liberty Eagles: 23/ Bunker Eagles: 21

3rd Quarter: As Bunker tries to press to start the Quarter, Landon Hines causes a jump ball and it will be Liberty Ball out of bounds. Alex Tune gets it and puts it up and in for two. Bunker with rebound as Braydon Radford is able to shoot an easy two as well as foul Hines and go to the line and shoot two. Liberty finally gets it back after a few passes as Alex Tune fights for it. Gets it and tries for a three. Shot goes up but a foul. On rebound, Draydon Wells gets it and plays a spin move putting it up for two more. With under 3 minutes to go, Liberty continues to lead 30-27. Bunker gets it back as Meloy makes two easy layups but loses it again after a foul, Alex Tune gets the ball and puts it up for three after the score is tied at 30-30. Tied up at 33 as both Tune and Radford make two easy shots. Alex Tune is able to steal it back again with 50 seconds and a blocked shot by Gavin Reese at the buzzer. Final shot makes the score 35-33.

4th Quarter: Radford makes one at the line. Ball is lost out of rebound and picked back up by Liberty. Bunker steals it back and is shot up and good by Radford. Parker Tune is able to take a large chunk off this drive back and tie and also get it back and add three more. The score quickly evens back out to a one-point lead as Bunker tries to drive back in. Meloy and Radford both making the majority of easy baskets. Finally, Parker Tune gets a stop as he goes to the line, unfortunately only makes one free throw. Twenty-nine seconds as Liberty continues to have issues. Tune finally gets one to roll in, but a foul call. Sixteen seconds as two more buckets are shot at the line for Bunker. Alex Tune continues to try for some last minute shot with the Bunker lead 51-48. Jayton Skaggs for Bunker makes two more at the line to round out the final seconds 

FINAL SCORE:  Bunker Eagles: 54/ Liberty Eagles: 48/ Bunker outscores Liberty 20-13.
