Boil Advisory Issued for Parts of West Plains

The following locations are currently under a water boil advisory:

Summers Street – from South Curry Street to Walker Street

South Curry Street – south of Summers Street

Walker Street – south of Summers Street

This advisory is a precautionary measure to ensure water quality.

What You Need to Know:

Boil water for at least 3 minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.

The advisory will remain in effect until water quality testing confirms the water is safe to use. We will update residents as soon as the advisory is lifted.

Before the Water Boil Advisory is lifted, three consecutive tests will need to be completed. With the upcoming holiday’s, office hours for the state lab will be limited.
