Douglas Henry Chritton, 82, passed away at Riverside Nursing and Rehab in Riverside, MO on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Douglas was born April 23, 1942, in West Plains, MO to Charles Henry and Marie (Carver) Chritton.
Douglas graduated from Willow Springs High School and spent much of his life in his home of Willow Springs. He loved the outdoors and worked for many years in lawn maintenance and house painting. In his free time, he painted dozens of oil paintings, restored antique Ford cars, refurbished furniture, and enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie.
He is survived by his brothers, Clarence and Albert Chritton both of Willow Springs, and brother, Charles Dennis (Linda) Chritton of Merriam Woods, MO; son, Kirk (Elizabeth) Chritton of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Angelene Chritton of Gladstone, MO; and seven grandchildren.
A visitation for Douglas will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Willow Funeral Home, LLC. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Brower officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.
