COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women’s basketball wraps up a two-game road stretch at 5 p.m. on Thursday against Georgia. The contest will stream live on SECN+.
Missouri (11-6, 0-2 SEC) is coming off a loss to No. 19 Alabama on Sunday.
Graduate forward Angelique Ngalakulondi led Missouri in the scoring column for the first time this season with nine points against the Crimson Tide.
Senior guard Nyah Wilson led the Tigers off the bench for the first time this season with nine points.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter ranks fifth in the conference in free throw percentage at 84.1 and seventh with 3.4 makes per game.
Sophomore guard Abbey Schreacke is second in the SEC and is tied for 17th nationally with 42 3-pointers this season.
Schreacke also ranks seventh in the SEC in 3-point percentage (39.3).
As a team, the Tigers lead the SEC and are tenth nationally in 3-point percentage at 38.2 percent.
Slaughter is third in the country in 3-point percentage (51.9) among athletes who average 1.0+ makes per game this season.
Junior guard Ashton Judd averaged 13.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in the last nine games after averaging 7.5 points, 4.4 boards and 1.1 steals respectively in the first eight contests.
Redshirt sophomore guard Averi Kroenke ranks third in the SEC and 17th in the country with a 2.74 assist-to-turnover ratio.
In the classroom, Missouri earned a 3.35 GPA during the 2024 Fall semester with eight Tigers recording above 3.5 and four with 4.0.
Georgia enters Thursday at 8-8 including an 0-2 mark in SEC play following a loss to Florida on Sunday.
The Bulldogs are coached by Katie Abrahamson-Henderson who is in her third year with the program and has amassed a 42-38 record.
Georgia is led by Mia Woolfolk who averages 13.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
De’Mauri Flournoy is contributing 12.2 points and 2.1 rebounds.
The game will mark the 20th matchup between the programs as Georgia leads the series 12-7 all-time including a 6-2 mark in Athens, Georgia.
The Tigers won the latest meeting 69-57 on Jan. 18, 2024.
