West Plains, MO. – In a new event from the West Plains Downtown organization, it was announced that the historic coloring book project has been completed and will soon find its way to area kids.
This project takes the forms of historic downtown buildings, and recreates them as drawings with easy to digest descriptions of their past that individuals can then color. The pages were designed by area artists including Barbara Williams, and the MSU-West Plains Art Club
The books can be found in several area businesses for a $5 cost, and will be distributed for free to area school-age children, including those who are home-schooled. Pictures of the event can be found below.
