On February 11, 2025, Stephen Plummer age 67 of Vanzant was arrested after a lengthy narcotics investigation conducted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and COMET Drug Task Force.
A Douglas County Grand Jury indicted Plummer for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred on August 24, 2024. Plummer was also indicted on Delivery of a Controlled Substance that occurred on August 30, 2024. The total bond was set at $4000 cash only. Plummer has since bonded on the warrants.
