Twila Faye Collins, 92 years, 8 months, 24 days old, passed away on February 12, 2025, in West Plains, Missouri.
Twila was born May 18, 1932, in Vanzant, Missouri, to Cleo and Jesse Faye (Harris) Welton.
In 1953, Twila and Johnny Augusta Collins were united in marriage and together were blessed with two children, Terri and Greg.
Twila was a retired public school teacher. She received her B.S. Degree in Education at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. She taught at Mansfield Elementary School for several years and retired from there.
She was a Christian and attended the Family Life Church in Dora, Missouri, when she was able.
Twila enjoyed gardening, going to the movies, her animals, going to town, shopping, and loved going out to eat with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Johnny Augusta.
Twila is survived by her children, Greg Collins and Terri Hall; four grandchildren, Alicia McNett, Johnathan Hall, Alexis Collins, and Ali (Hall) Harbour; great grandchildren, William, Audrey, Aaliyah, Maddi, Abby, Lanie, Brady, and Jensen; other extended relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Twila will be Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Mtn. Grove, Missouri. Officiating will be Rev. Don Hamby. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
