Merriam Woods, MO. – A 22-year-old from Houston was seriously injured in an overturn crash that took place in Taney County during the early morning hours of Sunday, February 23rd.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a female driver operating a Chevy Cruze failed to negotiate a curve on US 160 near Merriam Woods, which caused them to leave the road, strike a sign and the culvert, and overturn into a rock embankment.

The driver was not wearing a safety device and was taken to Cox South for further treatment.
