From the Howell County Sheriff’s Office:
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the donation of a K-9 Trauma Kit for its newest K-9, Flash. The generous donation was made by Michelle Miller in loving memory of her Professional Therapy K-9, Lucy the Zizzer Dog, who passed away last year.
K-9 Flash, assigned to Deputy First Class Timothy Gordon, began an intensive eight-week training program today and will serve as a valuable asset to the department upon completion. The trauma kit will provide life-saving medical supplies in the event of an emergency, ensuring K-9 Flash receives immediate care when needed.
“We are incredibly grateful for this meaningful donation,” said Sheriff Matt Roberts “K-9 Flash will be a vital part of our team, and having the proper medical resources on hand is essential for his safety in the line of duty.”
Michelle Miller expressed her hope that Lucy’s legacy will live on through this contribution, helping to protect another devoted working dog.
