Marion County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Death Of Resident

Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that on 2/23/2025 at approximately 9:30A, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) received a 911 call about an unresponsive male at a residence on State Highway 14, south of Yellville. Deputies and Investigators responded to the scene and found the body of the male next to his bed. Witnesses at the residence stated the male had experienced some health-related issues. Sheriff Alexander stated Investigators processed the scene and identified the victim as RANDALL SCHNEIDER, 33 YOA, of Yellville. The Marion County Coroner responded and pronounced SCHNEIDER dead at the scene. The Coroner took possession of the body and will transfer it to the State Medical Examiner’s Section of the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of SCHNEIDER’S death. The next of kin was notified. The investigation is continuing.
