MU Extension Offers Free Webinar Series for Horse Owners

Horse owners looking to improve the health and productivity of their pastures will have a valuable learning opportunity this year, thanks to a free webinar series offered by MU Extension. The first webinar in the 2025 series is set for March 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., and it will kick off a total of four educational sessions designed specifically for horse owners.

Maintaining healthy pastures and paddocks can be a challenge for many horse owners. Weeds, bare patches, and limited grass growth are common problems that not only affect grazing but also lead to increased feed and hay costs. With unpredictable hay availability caused by drought and the rising costs of horse care, optimizing pasture health offers a cost-effective way to meet horses’ nutritional needs.

For those unable to attend the live webinar, a recording will be made available to everyone who registers. Interested participants can register online at Horsemen’s Webinar Series – March | MU Extension.
