The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced plans to replace a bridge located on Route 137 over the BNSF Railroad and East 1st Street in Howell County. The bridge is situated between Business 63/East Main Street and West Valley in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Construction on this critical project is expected to begin as early as summer 2026. During the replacement process, Route 137 will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge for approximately six months. Additionally, East 1st Street will also be closed near the bridge throughout the entire construction period.
MoDOT has made plans, maps, and additional information regarding the bridge replacement available for public review at the MoDOT Regional Office located at 3956 E Main St., Willow Springs. These materials can be inspected and copied by the public.

Additionally, any individual impacted by this project may request a public meeting to discuss the proposed improvements.
