Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Xavier Worthy Will Not Be Charged After Being Arrested For Allegedly Attacking Someone

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will not be charged after he was arrested on Friday for assault of a family member or house member by impeding the breathing or circulation.

According to Worthy’s attorneys, he and a woman got into an argument after he asked her to leave his house. They said the woman caused property damage and scratched his face.

Online records of the arrest don’t share any details but the listing for the case was updated to “dismissed/declined.” Charges were dropped against Worthy after multiple witnesses were talked to but attorneys will continue to “evaluate the case.”

The Chiefs drafted Worthy in the first round of last year’s NFL Draft.
