Howell County Sheriff’s Office deputies successfully apprehended a wanted fugitive following a brief foot pursuit in a wooded area near K Highway and US Highway 63 this morning. At approximately 9:37 A.M., deputies attempted to execute two arrest warrants for 28-year-old Michael Bradley Gillham, who was wanted for failure to appear on charges of Receiving Stolen Property (Class D Felony) and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Class C Felony).
Upon making contact, Gillham fled into a nearby wooded area, refusing to comply with law enforcement commands. Deputies quickly established a perimeter and deployed drone cameras to aid in the search. Shortly after, Gillham was located and taken into custody without further incident.
He was booked into the Howell County Jail on his outstanding warrants and now faces an additional charge of resisting arrest.
