A collision involving a pickup and motorcycle occurred late Tuesday morning on Highway E, three miles north of Norwood, leaving one driver injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened at approximately 11:45 A.M.
According to the crash report, a 32-year-old man from Norwood was driving a 1999 Dodge pickup northbound when he attempted to make a left-hand turn. The truck crossed into the path of a southbound 2001 Honda GL1800 motorcycle, resulting in a head-on collision.

The motorcycle driver, a 68-year-old man from Mountain Grove, sustained extensive damage to his vehicle, but was not injured.
Emergency responders transported the pickup driver to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
