A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Business 60 in Cabool. The crash involved three eastbound vehicles and resulted in one reported injury.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old male from Gainesville was stopped in the eastbound lane, preparing to make a left-hand turn when the accident unfolded. Another vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old male from Cabool collided with a third vehicle, driven by a 58-year-old male from Denver, CO. The impact forced the third vehicle into the rear of the first vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway.
The driver of the first vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported by Texas County Memorial Hospital emergency services. Both the second and third vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Mayfield’s Towing at the owners’ request. The first vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene by a private conveyance.
