This morning, at approximately 1:00 AM, a Shannon County Sheriff’s Deputy on routine patrol discovered a motorcycle crash involving a rider who had left the roadway and collided with a group of boulders. The operator of the motorcycle was found in critical condition, suffering from a severe head injury and experiencing difficulty breathing.
Acting swiftly, the Deputy placed the injured motorcyclist in the recovery position to maintain an open airway and stabilize breathing while awaiting emergency medical assistance. EMS personnel arrived on the scene, and due to the severity of the injuries, the individual was transported by air ambulance to a medical facility for advanced care.
