On Friday the Willow Springs Bears traveled to Mansfield to face the Mansfield Lions in High School Baseball. Mansfield struck first in the bottom of the first inning with a single run, Willow Springs answered back in inning number three to tie the game at one. Mansfield scored one run in the fifth and one run in the sixth inning to take a 3-1 lead. Willow Springs had two runners on with no one out in the top of the seventh and scored one run coming up just short losing 3-2.
