From the Howell County Sherriff’s Department:
On April 21, 2025, at approximately 1100 hours, Deputy Talon Millard responded to County Road 7880 to investigate a stolen vehicle located on the property. During the course of the investigation and contact with the resident, Deputy Millard observed and seized suspected narcotics and several items of drug paraphernalia.
A search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed at approximately 4:00 PM that same day, leading to the discovery of a loaded firearm, additional drug paraphernalia and additional suspected narcotics.
David Wayne Blake, age 62, of Moody was arrested, is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle first degree, and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was booked into the Howell County Jail, and later released on a $10,000 bond.
