Izard County, AR – The Izard County Sheriff’s Office, under the leadership of Sheriff Charley Melton, has released its weekly incarceration report, detailing several arrests made between May 5 and May 10, 2025. The following individuals were taken into custody, and it is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Daniel Young, 33, of Oxford
Arrested on May 5 on a warrant for probation violations originating from Howell County, Missouri.
Brock Handyside, 23, of Brockwell
Arrested on May 6 on a warrant issued by the Izard County Circuit Court.
Charges include:
Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
Two counts of Terroristic Threatening
Criminal Mischief
Stephen McCarroll, 44, of Mountain View
Arrested on May 8 for probation violations.
Trey Chism, 26, of Mountain Home
Arrested on May 8 and charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms
Jared Slack, 39, of Calico Rock
Arrested on May 8 and charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Kendra Fitzgerald, 47, of Calico Rock
Arrested on May 8 and charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Maintaining a Drug Premises
Additionally, Fitzgerald has been classified as a habitual offender due to having four or more previous felony convictions.
Feather Thompson, 47, of Henderson
Arrested on May 10 on a warrant for failure to appear issued by the District Court.
Thompson is also being held on a detainer for Baxter County.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that these arrests are part of ongoing law enforcement efforts to maintain public safety in the community. No further details have been released at this time.
