Mizzou running back Ahmad Hardy is recovering after being wounded in a shooting early Sunday morning in his hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Police say the shooting happened around 2 a.m. outside a club following an outdoor rap concert, with multiple gunshots fired as people were leaving the event. Hardy was one of at least three victims and later underwent surgery. He’s listed in stable condition.
Three 19-year-old suspects from Laurel have been brought in for questioning as the investigation continues.

Hardy is coming off an outstanding season for the Tigers, rushing for more than 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns while earning first-team All-SEC honor.
