Two Mountain View residents were taken into custody on May 12 after a Douglas County Grand Jury indicted them on felony drug charges. Deputies arrested 25‑year‑old Christian Adkins and 30‑year‑old Lacey Andrews on counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.

According to the sheriff’s office, the indictment stems from an October 2026 traffic stop worked by Deputy J. Harley, who reported seizing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. Adkins’ bond was set at $1,500 cash only, and Andrew’s bond at $5,000 cash only.
