Thursday Food Truck Day’s Return this Week Amid Other Events in West Plains

West Plains, MO. – Terry Hampton returns again this week, giving us an idea of things worth attending in the West Plains, including a presentation, a returning favorite, and a ceremonial event next Monday.

Two events will be happening this Thursday, with the first being the return of Food Truck Thursday’s at the West Plains Civic Center. This consists of various food trucks setting up shop from 10am to 2pm behind the Civic Center every thirs Thursday of the month, which has quickly become a local favorite warm-season event.

Then, at the Ozarks Heritage Research Center, 304 West Trish Knight Street, Brooks Blevins will be providing a presentation regarding emigration of the Ozarks as a way to help celebrate the 250th anniversary of America. This is free to attend and will begin at 6pm.

Lastly, next Monday, Memorial Day, we return to the Civic Center at 11am for a ceremonial “A Road to Remember” event, featuring personalized street banners for local veterans.
