Memorial Services for Chris Duncan, Age 68 of Willow Springs, Missouri will be held Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Chris Allen Duncan passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend, whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Known as the greatest storyteller, Chris had a way of bringing people together through laughter, wisdom, and unforgettable memories. Whether he was sharing stories from years past or sitting around with family and friends, his words always brought a smile to people’s faces.
On April 6, 1996, in Arroll, Missouri, Chris was united in marriage to Beth Duncan, whom he absolutely cherished as his wife of 30 years. He never missed an opportunity to show her how much he loved her by caring for her and trying to make all of her wishes come true. Their marriage was built on unwavering love, loyalty, laughter, and partnership. Through every season of life, she was his greatest companion and the love of his life.
He was the most dedicated father who loved his children with his whole heart. He was a protector, provider, teacher, and steady source of strength and encouragement. Chris stated that he knew his life was complete when he found God and saw that each of his children had grown up and now had their own families.
Chris’ greatest joy in life was being called Papa by his grandbabies. Nothing made him prouder than spending time with them, letting them play in his beard, teaching them to wrestle, making memories, and watching them grow. They were truly the light of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Norma Duncan; one sister, Pam Wallander; and niece, Jamie Wilbanks.
Chris is survived by his wife, Beth Duncan; one daughter, Robin Duncan; three sons, Cory Duncan (Savannah), Lee Allen (Amy), Ben Allen (Caroline); nine grandchildren, Isabella, Carter, Garrett, Temperance, Jazyn, Thane, Ruthie, Gracie, and Efraim; one great-grandchild, Jaxson; and one sister, Debbie Wells.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found arrowhead hunting, riding horses, or on his Harley, and enjoying the simple peace of nature, sitting on the front porch with his dog.
Above all, Chris lived with a strong Christian faith that guided his life and carried him through both joys and hardships. He loved deeply, gave generously, and remained steadfast in his devotion to his family.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing his legacy of love, faith, and family will continue for generations to come.
