The State Golf meet is complete and in class 1 the Eminence Redwings placed 8th and freshman Brendan Barnes was the top player for the Redwings finishing in 19th place with a two day score of 164. In class 2 Willow Springs Bears finished in 8th place with Braiden Scott Moran leading the way with a two day score of 161 and finishing in 26th place. The Liberty Eagles had two golfers competing in the state golf meet Blayne Altermate finished in second place with a two day score of 145, and big brother Brady Alternmate finished in 9th place with a two day score of 151. In class 3 a couple of SCA golfers finished in the top 25 Ava Bear Thomas William Ellison and Salem Tiger Aiden Drew Summers both finished tied at 24th place and both shooting a two day score of 154.

Lady Zizzer Soccer Camp June 8th to the 11th. 2nd grade to 6th grade camp is 5pm to 630pm. 7th grade to 12th grade is 630 to 8pm. Cost is 30 dollars per player register now through the West Plains athletic department or sign up the day of the camp.

Class 2 district 2 semi-finals Gainesville over Bakersfield 8-1 and East Carter over Alton 4-2, Gainesville play East Carter in the district championship game today at Van Buren. Class 3 district 9 Licking over Houston in the Championship game 5-0. Class 2 quarterfinal softball Thayer over Houston 10-2 Thayer will play Kennett Monday at 10am at Killian Softball Complex in Springfield.
