The Royals blew one late to the Yankees losing 4-3. Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. both hit solo home runs, but Lucas Erceg was charged with his second loss and fourth blown save after allowing two runs in the top of the ninth. The Royals have lost 11 of their last 14 games to sit at 22-32.
