Thayer Lady Bobcats took on the Mount Vernon Lady Mountaineers in the 3rd Place game of the 2026 MSHSAA Class 2 State Softball Championship held at the Killian Sports Complex in Springfield, The Lady Bobcats would fall to a talented Mount Vernon squad 16-1, bringing an end to the season.

The TCMH 20th annual 2-person golf scramble will be held on Fri June 12th and Saturday June 13th at Oakwood Golf Course in Houston. Proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program. Lady Zizzer Soccer Camp June 8th to the 11th. 2nd grade to 6th grade camp is 5pm to 630pm. 7th grade to 12th grade is 630 to 8pm. Cost is 30 dollars per player register now through the West Plains athletic department or sign up the day of the camp.
