Graveside Services for Donald Bo Coats, Age 88 of Houston, Missouri will be held on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 in The Pine Lawn Cemetery, Houston, Missouri, beginning at 10:30 AM under the direction of The Evans Funeral Home, Houston, Missouri.
Donald Bo Coats was born in Houston, MO on April 5, 1938, along with his twin brother Bob, to Herbert Bo Coats and Keith Bonnett Coats. He passed away on May 20, 2026, in Nixa, MO at the age of 88.
After graduating from Houston High School, Don attended SMS in Springfield, MO for 2 years before starting his career in the aviation industry in California working for Continental Airlines and later Alaska Airlines as a crew scheduler until his retirement in the late 70’s.
He continued his passion for the RV life traveling the highways and byways enjoying the scenery and the people he met along the way. He was a founding member of the Traveling Our Way RV group and enjoyed many years traveling with the group.
Don is survived by his brother, Bob, and one sister Jana Beth Bonny of Washington, several nieces and nephews, and many longtime friends.
A graveside service will take place at Pine Lawn Cemetery on June 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
