A Willow Springs man was moderately injured Tuesday morning in a two‑vehicle crash east of Pomona. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 9 a.m. on County Road 2070, one mile east of town.
Troopers report a northbound 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by a 43‑year‑old man from Willow Springs, was traveling in the southbound lane when it struck the side of a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 67‑year‑old Pomona man.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. His motorcycle was totaled and towed from the scene. The pickup sustained minor damage and was driven away.
