On January 20, 1978, she married the love of her life, Mark Jeffrey Fry.

Claudia loved gardening, growing flowers, watching birds, and especially her Bumble Bee Hummingbird. Over the years, Claudia raised chickens, turkeys, and several other farm animals. Her greatest love was her “fur babies” Chloe, Chelse, and Smokey. They were her children and in the last few days of her life she wanted them close by.

She had a contagious laugh, which spread to everyone she met. Life was to be lived with joy, and many strangers left her presence with a smile and a chuckle. She very much enjoyed being a housewife and taking care of Mark and her fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Virginia Stark and her grandparents, Virgil I. and Emma P. Stark and Everett and Cora Nelson.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, of the home; four sisters, Clilva (Gus) Vasquez of Arlington, TX, Cledith Green, Clarice Bowman, and Cleta (Donald) Dean, all of Houston, MO; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and not to be forgotten, her “fur babies” Chloe, Chelse, and Smokey.

Claudia loved and cherished all her family and friends, times spent with them were always special. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
