Ronald Glen Huffman

Ronald Glen Huffman was born on June 26, 1945, in Birch Tree, Missouri, to Clarence and Kathleen (Eschrich) Huffman. He passed away on June 3,2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 80.

Ronald graduated from Eminence High School in 1963 and, soon after, married Norma Jean Chrisco on February 15, 1964. He was baptized at the Delaware Church in Birch Tree, Missouri.

He worked as a journeyman carpenter for 17 years in St. Louis, Missouri, before returning to Eminence, where he started a carpentry business with his brother, Ernie. In 2006, Ronald purchased Huffman’s One Stop in Eminence and managed the store until he retired.

Ronald loved fishing and hunting, mowing his yard, spending time with family and friends, and playing cards with his brothers. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Kathleen Huffman of Birch Tree, MO; his sister, Glenna Jones of Jefferson City, MO; and his nieces, Patty Jones of Jefferson City, and Stephanie Huffman of Eminence, MO.

Ronald is survived by his wife Norma Huffman of Eminence, MO; three children, Steven (Mona) Huffman of Summersville, MO, Greg (Jode) Huffman of Houston, MO, and Tami (Jeff) Cowen of Eminence; three brothers, Ed (Jimmy) Huffman of Eminence, Ernie (Patty) Huffman of Eminence, and Bill (Gale) Huffman of Salem, MO; six grandchildren, Justin (Jonna) Huffman of Sikeston, MO, Brandon (Brianna) Huffman of Summersville, Kortney (Toni) Huffman of Springfield, Cody (Alexa) Huffman of Houson, Jeffrey Cowen of Las Vegas, NV, and Jainee Cowen of Columbia, MO; five great-grandchildren, Porter, Carter, Jackson, Jasper, and Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
