Betty Jean Riley, 81, formerly of Licking, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Tuscumbia, MO. Betty was born in St. Louis on November 4, 1944, to Joseph Riley and Myrtle (Wichmann) Riley.
Betty graduated from Licking High School in 1962. She was a seamstress for her entire working life. In her free time, Betty enjoyed sewing, making floral arrangements, fishing, and hunting.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Carlene (Jerry) Bredahl and Halona Bear; sister, JoAnn (Robert) Cardwell; along with her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Myrtle Riley; sister, Connie Stevens; brother, Joseph Wayne Riley; and son in law, Jeff Bear.
Private services for Betty will be held at Hutchason Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty’s name may be sent to GMA Pam’s Rack Pack, PO Box 52, Licking, MO 65542.
