The Royals held off the Twins, taking three out of four from their division rivals with a 6-5 win. Starling Marte hit a three-run homer. Minnesota scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth to make it interesting.
Bobby Witt Jr left the game in the seventh with a sore knee after going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.
