An 18‑year‑old man from Hunter was moderately injured Wednesday morning in an ATV crash on County Road 251, just a quarter‑mile south of Hunter in Carter County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:20 a.m. when a southbound 1984 Yamaha 225DX ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch, ejecting the driver. He was not wearing a safety device.

The teen was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
