A Mountain View woman suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon in a two‑vehicle crash on Route Y, three miles north of town. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 26‑year‑old woman was headed south when a northbound 1998 Chevrolet 1500 failed to yield, causing the Hyundai to strike the truck.
The Hyundai’s driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Mercy St. Francis Hospital for treatment, no injuries were reported for the driver of the Chevrolet.
