A 32‑year‑old Piedmont man drowned Sunday afternoon at Clearwater Lake near Thurman Point. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 1:20 p.m. on June 14 when the victim exited a 2013 pontoon boat and did not resurface.
The victim was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m. on June 16 by Reynolds County Coroner Jeff McSpadden. Next of kin have been notified.
