A Salem, Arkansas man was seriously injured Saturday in a motorcycle crash on Highway 142, about 15 miles west of Thayer in Howell County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at noon when a westbound 2009 Harley‑Davidson ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The motorcycle sustained total damage and was towed by Legacy Towing.

The rider, a 55‑year‑old man from Salem, suffered serious injuries. He was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
